For building medium to large scale capture systems

  • There are multiple optical lines in the data center.

  • There are multiple light sessions for one light, and I want to capture each
    individually.

  • There is also a VPN to take outbound packets.
I want the plaintext traffic on the front side of the router.

  • There are 16 links in 4 FTTH x 4 sessions.

  • I tried to capture internally, but there are 30 VLANs divided by
    L3SW.

  • I wanted to add individual taps, but
    I don't have enough capture equipment/it's expensive.

  • Perform integrated packet capture to perform
load balancing, replication, filtering, slicing, and time stamping.

Rack-mounts and connects multiple fail-safe
inline connections and multiple capture devices to process packets in batches and connect from source to capture device. → お問い合わせください

What is a Network Packet Broker (NPB)?

A network packet broker (NPB) is a device that optimizes the flow of traffic between TAP and SPAN connections and network monitoring, security, and acceleration tools. By maintaining many-to-many (M:M) port mappings of network ports and monitoring ports, you can more efficiently direct network traffic and apply filters to optimize bandwidth usage on your network. It also improves the performance of out-of-band tools because they receive only actionable data.

Why do we need a network packet broker?
Network architectures are constantly becoming more complex and distributed, which in turn increases network speed, data volume, and traffic complexity. Network packet brokers help optimize the performance of monitoring and security tools across your network by feeding each tool with the right packet data, resulting in improved network efficiency while reducing costs.

Profitap XX-Series and X2-Series Network Packet Brokers are high-end, versatile solutions that deliver the power and flexibility of network traffic management. All of Profitap's network packet brokers are designed for aggregation, filtering, and routing of multiple 10G/25G/40G/100G inputs and are used in very high sustained bandwidth port monitoring and analysis scenarios.

Network packet brokers enhance the performance of network analysis and security tools and help resolve application performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot network issues. In this way, you can enhance your monitoring capabilities and improve your return on investment.

Profitap's Network Packet Broker has XX series and X2 series. We have
module on the capture side and ProfiShark10G ProfiShark1G and IOTA 10G IOTA 1G on the side to save the capture.
This is basically a rack-mounted and permanently installed device, and there are many configurations depending on the customer's capture environment. Please contact us.

XX-Series Network Packet Brokers

Profitap XX-Series Network Packet Brokers are high-density packet brokers that deliver up to 3.2Tbps throughput on a single 19-inch RU, providing power and flexibility for network traffic management. All XX-Series Network Packet Brokers offer powerful features such as aggregation, replication, advanced filtering, and load balancing.

X2-Series Next-Gen Network Packet Brokers

The new Profitap X2 series is a next-generation network packet broker (NGPB) that delivers up to 6.4 Tbps of throughput. In addition to standard XX-Series features, it offers a wide range of features including packet slicing, GTP IP filtering, ERSPAN tunneling and detunneling, GTP correlation, packet deduplication, and timestamping.

A network packet broker requires a module that connects to the network packet broker and a capture device that stores captures, such as ProfiShark10G , ProfiShark1G , or IOTA 10G IOTA 1G , to be installed in a rack, and then connected, configured, installed, and operated.
